Hi everyone. I've just "discovered" the site. I work for a youth organisation that now owns Svanskar. She was built in Sweden in 1938 and fished out of Fleetwood in the 60s and 70s. Her owner/skipper was Roy Hadgraft. Pictures of her in service in the 60s on the Trawlerphotos website.

We are trying to find out her history. I'd be really grateful if anyone has any information about her that they could pass on.
Thanks

Just submitted this to our researcher as it certainly looks as if she's in the Wyre, just coming up to the dock channel.

Hi Haggy

Great to hear from you! Over the years there have been lots of changes to Svanskar, in particular to the wheelhouse ....and a sailing rig has been added- but she's still the same ship. There are some photos on our website http://www.breakoutadventure.org.uk I'll give you a call tomorrow to swop some information.
